Driving Range

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DRIVING RANGE

The question of daily driving range, whether on short or long journeys, arises in the choice of an electric vehicle.

The driving range of our vehicles is given according to the WLTP cycle (Worldwide harmonized Light vehicles Test Procedures). This approved value may vary depending on various factors: discover the information that will allow you to better understand and better enjoy the electric driving experience.

YOUR DRIVING AND OTHER FACTORS AFFECT RANGE

SPEED

At 130km/h, the range of a 100% electric vehicle is halved compared to the WLTP-approved range.

Superchargers are available along the motorway network to allow you to quickly regain driving range during a coffee break or lunch: up to 80% in 30 minutesat a 100 kW charging station; not compatible with plug-in hybrid cars  (depending on vehicles, 100kW supercharger).

TEMPERATURE

Climate conditions and their consequences: cooling the passenger compartment has an impact on battery life.

Use thermal pre-conditioning when the vehicle is charging to start at the right temperature and optimise range.

DRIVING STYLE

Your driving style has a great impact on the range of your vehicle.

Choose a smooth driving style to optimise it.

THE LOAD TRANSPORTED

Driving with accessories on the roof or with a heavy load will affect your vehicle's energy consumption.

ADOPT ECO DRIVING

Drive smoothly

By adopting a flexible driving style, you avoid overconsumption of energy. Anticipate your braking and deceleration, limit jerks. On motorways, adapt your speed as much as possible, as high speeds quickly reduce the range of your car.

Pre-conditioning your vehicle

Take advantage of charging times to pre-condition your car without affecting its charge level. In this way you limit the energy consumption of the air conditioning or heating systems when you are driving.

Use brake mode

Use your engine brake instead of the brake pedal whenever you can. This will allow your electric or hybrid vehicle to recharge its battery during braking and deceleration.

Monitor the tyres

Beyond your safety, it is essential to ensure that your vehicle's tyres are in good condition and properly inflated to optimise energy consumption.
